Responsibilities
- Deployment Reliability Engineer (DRE) responsible to deploy approved code produced by developers in alignment with functional and technical expectations and defined acceptance criteria across market facing environments (PROD and non-PROD).
- Work with development teams to deploy new features and functionalities into production.
- Drives new initiatives and environment stabilization with market stakeholders and Technical Architects.
- Enable seamless market adoption of Functional Initiatives by bringing in cross-capability / 3rd party integration / infrastructure knowledge & expertise to execute complex cutovers.
- Seamless adoption of Continuous Improvement initiatives within support activities.
- Application SME and consultant for Digital products. Manage daily operational tasks and incidents raised in service cafΓ©/ JIRA.
- Lead High-Severity/Potential issue calls, troubleshooting and triaging it.
- Ensures resolution within the defined SLAs.Partner with Product teams in driving Major Incidents with focus on driving down MTTR.
- Improve Monitoring coverage with the goal of maintaining a high P1 prevention percentage.
- Create technical documentation as needed.
Β Personal skills
- A bachelorβs degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is required.
- Understanding of IT concepts and some practice in IT is necessary.
- Ability to work effectively in a team is essential.
- Strong oral and written communication skills are a must.
- Fluency in English and Hungarian, including writing and reading comprehension, is required.
- Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills are essential.
- Active listening and learning skills are important.
- Must be able to handle diverse work problems on a daily basis.
- Requires ability to set priorities and work schedule, yet adjust to changes necessitated by last minute assignments and deadline requests that may prove stressful.
- Consistent pleasant attitude is necessary with personal maturity as an important attribute.
- Must relate and interact with people at all levels of the company and in a culturally diverse environment
Advantage
- At least 2 years of experience working in an IT supporting role.
- Experience with Jenkins or ArgoCD is an advantage.
- Scripting skills, such as Python, for automating daily manual routines are beneficial.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Confluence, Jira)
- Knowledge of ITIL is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes or AWS EKS solutions and platforms is preferred.
- Experience with Linux is an asset.
- Understanding of network concepts is advantageous.
- Experience with monitoring systems is beneficial.
- Knowledge of databases, both relational and non-relational, is an advantage.
- Familiarity with AWS Cloud services (EC2, DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, ApiGateway) is preferred.
